my boiler is natural gas fired steam and is a slant fin 15 years

Before you do, please look at your gas valve on the boiler and write down the part number. It'll help, a lot.

    heat problems

    My 15 year old steam heat natural gas fired boiler by slant fin keeps nocking out the pilot light my service man says I need a new boiler does this sound right?

    no its not leaking however it gets too hot that the high temp keeps shutting down the pilot light and it is rusting inside
