    Of course

    the check was left in my box Friday afternoon, after the banks had closed. Today (Saturday) was Veterans Day, so they were closed.

    I plan on being at his bank Monday AM to get the check certified before I go to my bank.

    Builder Boy paid me, not the homeowner. No limbs were broken to the best of my knowledge....
