radiator repair

one of my old cast iron radiators has developed a 4 inch crack. is this repairable? is there a product on the market? is this something we can fix ourselves - or do i need to call in a professional. help!!!

If it's a hairline crack NOT on a sharp corner of the casting on a water radiator, try JB Weld (available nearly anywhere).
Clean very well first with wire brush, sandpaper and a solvent like acetone.
If it's a steam radiator you should be able to repair a crack anywhere as there is very little pressure.0
