Proper pitch to vent pipe from oil fired domestic boiler
Big intra office argument: Vent pipe goes vertical from top of boiler about 2 feet - horizontal about 6 feet through barometric damper to masonry chimney - system about 15 years old -is it best to A: pitch down toward boiler to assist in draft, B: pitch down to chimney to drain condensate crap into the chimney base cleanout area. C: go chicken and have the run level ??? Thanks Bill Stanley0
