Automatic Water Feed Problem

Hello,
I have a very old steam boiler with an automatic water feed. I release waste water thru a valve but never have to add any water. When this happens, the red pop-up on the water supply goes down and as water feeds the system, it pops back up. The last time I released waste water, the red-pop up went down and has not popped up for over a week now. There seems to be no water in the glass gauge. Any ideas on fixing this?
Thanks,
Jason

Water feeder
Do you have a valve closed, before or after the feeder??? If not, there is a strainer in the #101 H/W. Could b pluged up? OR it just needs replacing !0 -
Also does your boiler run for hot water? If not, do you have any of the power switches turned off for the summer?

You were right, a water valve was closed before and after the feeder. Thanks0
