    is CO a concern...

    Co is always a concern regardless of the fuel burned and regardless of the appliance producing it. Not only is this gas toxic, it is also unburned fuel that the homeowner has paid for and received no benefit from. Excessive levels of CO in the flue gas indicates an incomplete strat-up IMHO.

    Fact is, CO is a concern with anything that burns something. If a D/V unit isn't sealed properly, it could pose a threat. Even if it is sealed properly, there is also the exposure to anyone in the vicinity of the discharge.. (Re: kids playing next to the termination outside). The only way to know is to test. Chris
