expensive enough already? We would have nothing to do at least once a year. Most of them are not blown down frequently enough now; If someone realizes they have a teflon coating, they will think "no cleaning required"! doh

    how come McDonnell & Miller does not line the inside of their float type low water cutoffs with a teflon lining to prevent scale build up?

    funny you should say that, I have a friend with one and its acting up now supposedly the company he uses cleaned it out 2 weeks ago, but i doubt it. its not filling right. you would imagine that they can glaze it like they do the inside of indirects or hwh's but i guess with the extreme steam and heat it would come off, i agree with you, but they are pricey as it is
