I added 1 pound of water to the box and set it back outside, minus the aluminum foil, but under the cover of my car port roof so as to avoid night sky reradiation effect and heres what happened...

    maybe of some interest to you, foward looking forcast,
    yet it proves your point.

    experimenting is a lot of plain good fun, and we end up
    teaching "ourselves" alot in the process.

    the effect that your work shows is sometimes a topic of
    discussion here in chicago, someone may say "but it's
    the same temperature as yesterday, yet blow off that cloud
    cover at the leading egde of a front and...

    you know the rest, proves why all our control metheods
    are " not quite right".

    also what data logger are you using, 8 bit or 12 bit?
