It's 60 in Seattle and the crocus' are blooming. Must be that Global Warming thing...Spring must be coming sooner. So much for heating season in the Great NW. Never seen it so warm so soon and for so long without a cold snap.

Global Warming My A%&
The past few winters have been the coldest I remember (and my parents remember) and the summer has only lasted about 4 days. I will be happy if they tell us the snow will be melted by June.

That's pretty funny...
... today our kitchen creators/installers showed up and dryly remarked that anything was better than the Mudpit that our construction site exterior had become...0 -

OK, Chuck
Since both of my brother's live in the Boston area, I'm most sympathetic. Haven't seen a 2 or 3ft snowfall since I left NY in '91. Although I've been to Mt. Rainier in the winter, which usually gets the most snowfall of any area in the world. It's weird that 90 miles S. of Seattle there's annual snowfall of 280-400 inches per year and we get maybe 1-6" over the season. It's true that I've traded a snow shovel for an umbrella.

Hey Paul
Glad to see you're in the black when it comes to degrees. We've been on the red for several weeks now. How about sharing some of those BTU's?
Fax or e-mail them to me. I will put them to good use!

We used to say
Remember when we were kids, and we would have those huge snowfalls and No School days ???? My kids will have the same memorys.
Allthough we are having a heat wave now, its been in the upper twentys and low thirtys the last couple of days.
Here's my mantra " Twenty Eight days for February, and thens its allmost spring " Repeat that twenty times while in the lotus position, sitting in a hot tub !!

Trade (Maybe)
Mark & Scott, I'll take some of them Red BTU's. Warm winters mean less service dollars. On the other hand, it's very easy to become a weather wimp with constant 50+ degree winter days.

Spring my FANNY!!!!
How much and where would you like us to send it Paul?
This is the pile from the small downtown removal. The beach parking lot is around 50X75 yds, and the piles are over 10' in all but around 120 sq.ft. that they opened up for parking. Should be melted just in time for opening day.
Crocuss'indeed! Chris0
