left/right connections on steam radiators

I need either a very short 1.25" left/right nipple or a 1.25" left/right coupling. Does anybody know where in the NYC area I can find this animal?

  if the radiator has a l. & r. bushing in the tapping simply cut out the bushing and use a conventional angle union valve and 2 x 1 1/4 bush
