If you have a pinhole
the rest of the pipe is probably weak, so the best course of action is to replace the pipe. A standard clamp-type pipe patch can be used as a temporary repair.
It would also pay to see if you can find out why the pipe deteriorated in the first place. This can be caused by something seemingly unrelated, such as improper venting.
