We have used the Watts-Radiant ONIX tubing many times. It is a great product for staple-up applications because of its flexability. I also like to use it in garage slabs where freezing could occur.0 -
Onix tubing
We used in on a retrofit job that would have been a nightmare if we had tried to use pex. The job had limited crawlspace under a home and the ground was covered with rock. The onix went up much quicker using the Watts staple gun also. Our guys bodies were certainly appreciative of how easy the Onix was to work with.
We're working a job now that has pex in the slab, will have some staple-up Onix, and will have a ceiling radiant panel over a large arched window array in a huge master bath.
Material cost is higher, but labor cost is less.
