...I have a job coming up where we will be using the HR150 ventilation system. Only problem is, I can't sidwall vent the air intake and exhausts because of the roof lines and floor plan. Is there a roof termination available for this?
Thanks,
Starch

Hi, Starch!
There is no particular Honeywell fitting to do this, just use weather & varmint proof vent caps of the appropriate size. Insulate the ductwork going thru any unconditioned space, and remember that you can't mount the HR units in the attic. They need a drain and ambient air to do their defrost cycle.0 -
Thanks, Bill....
...that's kinda what I thought, but wanted to make sure. Does the exhaust vent termination need to have some type of flapper/damper?

Should have a weatherflap and birdscreen...
to keep the rain, starlings and squirrels out. Actually, HRV's work best when they are run 24/7 at low speed. You can use the basic control that comes with it, but the PC8900 Home Control Unit adds a low more flexibility to operating it.0
