An H.B.SMITH CAST IRON BOILER ,1,000,000Btu/hr ,is leaking between two sections.How do I fix the leak ?

It is a hot water boiler ,25 years old.

Lot's of man power
Either replace it if It's old or get ready to disassemble the whole thing and regasket it. Oh,..Bring lots of help. Strong workers.. good luck0 -
there is not much life left...
you should chuck it, and put in 4 250kbtu boilers with a stageing control - least expensive example: a slant-fin CARAVAN system
add primary/secondary/injection piping with outdoor reset and you will save a fortune0
