Just removed electric heat I am installing a high efficiency gas furnace wiyh ac. Anybody worked the coleman brand units.I replaced a condensimg unit 10 years ago , no problems

We install Coleman (made by York) as a second line. A tiny bit less costly than our primary line. A heck of a lot more noisy, lighter made- thinner metal, less insulation, sharp edges in cabinetry, etc. Just a little more cheaply made than some brands. If you want quiet operation, look elsewhere. On a positive note, they seem to be pretty dependable with no unusual problems to speak of. Their Twin Single two stage air conditioning condensor fills a good purpose at a decent equipment cost, but only 12 SEER. Again, it also is noisy or noisier (word?) than higher end brands. Greg0
