up and running fine for months. Owner calls and says the pump is screeching. Sure enough I pull the head and find this plastic pipe cap jammed in the volute.

Had to go around several 1-1/4" BI 90's to get there. Must have softened enough to squeeze through.

The Grundfos held it's own, ground the cap up a bit, but ran fine after the removal. Must have come inside either the Clean Burn boiler or the Raypak storage tank?
