Steam Shutdown

A commercial customer lost the tenant and wants to winterize the building. Normally we flood the boiler for summer shutdown but of course it isn't summer yet. They do chemically treat the make up water. Should we just drain the system or should we fill the system using antifreeze? I understand draining the system will cause corrosion and we have no idea when a new tennant will be taking over. The boiler could sit for a year or so. Do you have any suggestions.

Steam boiler
If there is a chance of freezing then drain it down. Do your self a favor, don't add anything but water in a steam system..0
