outdoor reset

I would like some info. about some advantages of outdoor reset is it only good for radiant say if you have hydro air units that the fan kicks on at 130 or if you have a indirect wh doesnt that have to be around 180 or does it work like if the indirect calls the outdoor reset shuts off until indirect is sattisfied

    You can run a outdoor reset on a hydro air system , you just have to set it to run at higher temperatures . Most set ups would have a priorty for hot water heaters . Figure 20%-30% extra savings with a reset..
