CAN A RECESSED RADIATOR BE PIPED IN A TWO PIPE STEAM SYSTEM
NORMALLY, THE FEED WOULD GO INTO THE UPPER CONNECTION, BUT IN THIS APPLICATION, BOTH FEED AND RETURN LINES WOULD BE ENTERING AND LEAVING RADIATOR FROM BOTTOM CONNECTIONS.
PLEASE ADVISE. THANK-YOU.

They work, but not the greatest
I'm not even crazy about using them on one-pipe because when you give the rad a little pitch away from the vent, which is nice, you back pitch the tapping a bit. If system is making dry steam and pressure is low it is not a big factor. But we do see problems on not so perfect systems and recessed rads. Mad Dog
