The Dave Nelsen Scholarship Fund Gets another Kind Contribution

On bahalf of NAOHSM, I want to thank the Lehigh Valley Chapter for their kind contribution to the Dave Nelsen Scholarship Fund. October 7, the chapter had Dan Holohan conduct a steam seminar in their area with the intent of doing three things: (1) Educate folks about steam (2) Set-up a new scholarship in the name of Pep Whitehead (Pep was a past National President from their chapter who passed away in late January of this year) and also (3) contribute to the D. Nelsen fund. In turned out that their new fund got a nice start of $3497.51 and $1165.84 was donated to the D. Nelsen Fund. From the paperwork submitted to me, it looks like kudo's must go to the sponsors of this event: J.R. Clendenning, Quality Equipment, Buderus, Stadler-Viega and Pro-tech. Again, nice job Lehigh Valley Chapter.
