I'm looking to purchase a gas detector, and was wondering if you had any preferances. Looking for pros and cons as well. Thanks

    Have used & sold tif, uei, sensit, informant, but the Bacharach Leakator 10 has been the most dependable I have found.

    I use

    an UltraTrac 2000

    have had very good success with it so far (about 6 months)

    can detect propane, natural gas, as well as many other gasses that arn't programmed in.
