CAN ANY ONE TELL ME THE BEST FORMULA FOR FIGURING SQUARE AREA OF A ROOM FOR A STEAM RADIATOR.

you use those charts to figure the square foot rating, and then convert that to BTUs.

i have a cast iron baseboard radiator in my dining room i need to know how to figure the btu rating of the room
so ican install a free standing radiator the base board just doesnt do the job or maybe itjust isnt big enough .

Put radiator in Kitchen
Trying to determine if my boiler is under or oversized. I caculated a total EDR of 330 for all the radiators. When I multiply that by 240 BTU/HR I get a total of 79200. Not sure what that means but my boiler says it has a rating of 420 sq ft of steam.0
