that works on a lot of the new boilers, and you get the same response, there is just not enough cast iron in the new boilers, this is true, in an effort to increase effiency, they cut down the mass, etc, while they are more efficent, but they are less tolarant to operating extreams,

under-temp - if the boiler has a lot of cold starts, then, untill the cast iron gets to 140f, it condenses corosive combustions gases, that eat it

if you are loosing a lot of water, the the fresh water eates it up
