leaky steam boiler

in THE MAIN WALL
is there anything that you can use to stop a leak at the boiler untill it can be changed in the next week or two.

    we have limped

    steam boilers along with a couple cups of oatmeal flakes...we had one that lasted two years by doing this..(tho we were only tring to get it to make it till spring)
