to use my bender to install this bb job. I prefabed a bunch of bends, soldered my pex adapter on, soldered the bends onto the element, and corkscrewed the whole assembly onto the predrilled holes. It went pretty slick after I worked out the math :) The adapters end up just below the joists in the crawl space.
It did cost me about 3" of fin on each board, but saved me a couple dozen 3/4" 90's and a bunch of solder joints. I'm thinking the sweeps don't cost me any pressure drop either, like a short sweep 90.
hot rod

Looks great as usual
I always appreciate you posting pics here. So how many times do you figure that little toy has paid for itself by now? I mean in time and fittings saved; not just in the fun you've had with it. ;-) Kevin

how much does
that baby cost ? Battery or 120V ? Is that hard drawn copper ? L or M ?
I think I'd like a tee-puller.

Nice.....
work, HR. I'm assuming you use soft copper with the bender - could be wrong? Where did you get the bender? -DF

Soft?
With soft he could have bent it by hand, that's rigid and will keep it's shape. He's such a functional artist. Awesome idea and craftsmanship.

Nice bender.....................................................
that bender does a great job....have used kitec many times and found it hard to get a shorter radius bend...usually need alot of space.
Think it would be good on Kitec too?0
