I am looking for a reducing adaptor. Copper sweat connection on both ends. 1" female on one side and 3/4" male on the other. Thanks for any help

You should be able to find them at a good plumbing house. I have a number of ¾ x ½ in that configuration and am quite certain I've used 1 x ¾ as well.

I call them 1" bushing x ¾" coupling and counter men know what I'm asking for...

    If I'm reading you right

You would need a 1' X 3/4" copper reducing coupling (also called a bell reducer) and a short nipple on the 3/4" end to give you a male sweat connection? Never seen such a fitting, but I'll bet they could be made.

If you mean 1" copper X 3/4 MIP, those are common stock.

    fitting reducers

I think he wants to go the other way. The fitting reducers in my catalogs are all "large-ftg x small-C" and I think he wants "large-C x small-ftg".

The only solution I see is 1"x3/4" reducer coupling and a "close nipple" of 3/4 tubing.
