A big THANK YOU to Columbia Boiler

for 63 contractors who each paid $99 to be there. All the money went to the Dave Nelsen Scholarship Fund, which benefits kids in trade schools. That's three $2,000 scholarships. I donated my time and Columbia picked up the tab for the entire day. Wonderful, caring people who are making a difference.

I told them about what we were doing here for New York Cares and without a moment's hesitation, they gave me a boiler AND a furnace to auction off here on the Wall. We're working out the details but stay tuned.

i'm confused too. don't know how that last post came up? at any rate that is probably a hoffmean number 8 1/2" made in the 30's. tp
