T-STAT compatibility

I haven't used the non-programable t-stats from Lux but we've got a ton of the PSP511 and PSP602 stats out w/o any problems. I know a lot of contractors don't like them but my experience with these two has been great. One of the things our customers like is that they're VERY easy to program unlike most programable stats.
BTW, to check out your problem unhook the wires to the stat making sure they're not touching. If you still have a call for heat it's in the wiring to the stat, the wiring to the boiler or the zone valve has failed. If the call for heat ends it's a bad stat.

t-stat compatability
I installed a Lux Psd158 non-programable t-stat on a ek system 2000 boiler (honeywell zone valves)today it ran well then I noticed that after a few minutes being off that the control board was saying that the zone was calling for heat even after being 10 degrees above the set temp. Anyone have a clue to compatiblity? tia...kpc0 -
Get rid of the LUX thermostat-- Lots of problems with those.0 -
Is the light
on bright or dim on the manager. If you read the Sys. 2000 manual I think somewhere in there it mentions electronic tstats keeping the light dimly lit.Should be no problem unless it keeps calling for heat0 -
Can also be a bad battery.......
in the thermostat, if it has one. It will cause a dimly lit light, (on he EK manager) but most likely will not be enough contact to operate the zone properly.
