Head Pressure??

in THE MAIN WALL
If I have 1 pump that feeds 3 zone valves, each with 2 200' runs of 1/2" Pex- how do I figure out the head pressure for the pump with all zones open and just 1 zone open??? Thanks.

    I'd suggest...

    that you go to Books and More and buy Siggy and Marios Hydronic Pro software. You can model the hydronic circuit(s), turn zones on and off, add bypasses, turn them on and off, switch pumps and more. It is well worth the investment, and it's a business write off.

    Yes...

    I have a downloaded sample version right now-definitely very cool software- just can't afford it right now :( I thought there was a chart somewhere? Guess what confuses me is what you do when there are parallel circuits. The water has other paths to go- so the ft. of head has to go down? This all relates to the Munchkin post from a few days ago. short cycling a nd low flow with only one of the ZV's on.
