Anybody have a way to stop these @!#$%&* Pop-up ads?
I'm running windows XP thanks

    go to techtv.com, search pop ups, then download "pow".its a free download, runs in the backround, as pop ups pop up,you designate such, I havn't seen a X cam in quite a while,

    Pop up stopper

    Employer loaded xp on the computer aslo included " Pop-Up stopper" anti pop up ad blocker. It's free.

    SpyBot Search & Destroy. It can also kill those nasty programs that run in the background and send your personal info to their hosts. Best of all, it's free too (though donations are requested).

    C:Program FilesLavasoftAd-aware 6Ad-aware.exe go to this site it's free, its a program that searchs all your file(everything) for hidden cookies and crap.Works really well but the first time you use it it will take about 10-15 minutes to scan then just hit select all and it will delect those files.Good luck Dave
