    We are bidding to install radiant in a client's new master bath and kitchen floors. 3/8" WIRSBO tubing will be installed on top of wire mesh and then embedded in 1 1/2" "mud job" by the tile installer. Is this recommended? Are there any tricks we need to know about? The homeowner and I are concerned about cracking. Thanks in advance.

    Have you looked into underfloor installation

    If you have a raised wood frame floor, radiant tubing can be installed under the floor from below. As with any installation, a full design analysis should be performed to be sure you stay within the tubings abilities and proper temperatures for the floor materials.
