Local building code around here prohibits dumping any kind of condensate into DWV stacks. They want it to dump outside.
How do you keep the ends of the lines from freezing?

We oversize the line where it goes through the wall or concrete and just pitch it a little more than normal. Never had any freeze. What State are you in.0 -
Upsized line
I've tried 1" Dropped thru the wall on a 45, Using pumps,
but I always get one that ends up freezing. I think it's the last drip that freezes and then the next drip on top of that an so on and on . Eventually the whole line just backs up.
I know they make heat tapes to go around the condensate collector box, there must be something to run to prevent the line from freezing.
Its going to be 41 degrees on friday here in NY. That will fix the problem for now!
Thanks
