Correct thermostat for 1960 Smith boiler

Options
Peter, your Magic Stat should have a cycle rate adjustment on it. The cycle rate is factory set for 6 cycles per hour and should be set for 3 cycles. Normally, if I remember correctly the adjustment is to turn the "A" screw on the back of the thermostat out one turn to change the cycles to 3 per hour, but double check your installation instructions to be sure.

Correct thermostat for 1960 smith boiler?

I have a 1960 Smith boiler and a 6000 sqf building. And I am using a programable magic stat thermostat. I normally leave the heat at 65f durring the morning and on some days the boiler will kick in every 5 minutes is this normal.
