Im tieing in a hot tub to the boiler through the heat exchanger in the tub, to heat the water. The exchanger has
3/4" male threads but it would save alot of troubles if I could do it in 1/2' Pex, what do you think?

What's the flow?
Brazed plate HX's come with fittings that are often "oversize" for the flow because a plate size can be built with 10 plates or 50 plates stacked. Now you have to see if the 1/2" tube will provide turbulent flow so you get good heat transfer and hot water. Also, look at where it enters the tub, you don't want to be explaining the welt on Mom's rear.
