possitive pressure
I have positive pressure over my fire in a H.B.Smith series 8 3 section. Anybody know the proper method to adjust and maintain "0" smoke? My flue is -.03" w.c.0 -
Adjusting the draft regulator may help by closing it, if it's not closed already. The size and condition of the chimney will have a lot to with the draft also. A -.03 at the breech is rather low especially this time of year with cooler outdoor temps.
Also have the flue passages been checked for obstruction? You can have a - draft at the breech and still have plugged flue passages.

w/ smith boilers..
don't they recommend no barometric draft control on the 8 series? kpc0 -
Kevin, I believe you're right I just looked at the installation instructions and no where does it mention the installation of a barometric. By the way for the 3 section the chimney should be 8x8x18
