in THE MAIN WALL
Somehow,someone or something has been sending VIRUS ladem material from jcaog@aol.com. I wish to state for the record that jcaog@aol.com has never ,or never will exsist from this writer.
My address has been changed from jcaog@mediaone.net to jcaog@attbi.com.If anyone has received the virus from this address , please let me know. If it came from an aol address, please let me know also . I have a laywer friend that is VERY interested in pursuing this matter . (new type of business for the industry I guess . )

    I have been receiving strange e-mail from a number of people that monitor the wall. I was told last week that some folks have received messages from me with viruses. I have run Norton and I do not have any infections. I have been deleting all suspicious messages promptly.

    That is just the way this Klez virus works. There is no one responsible except for the original virus writer. It is pretty silly to try to get a lawyer to nail someone, but I'll bet he would like to try, LOL!

    It is annoying and if everyone ran anti-virus software and stopped opening executable attachments, the virus writers would have to find a new game of destruction.

    I get

    about 50 a day (got the one with your name on it, no worries). What works really well to catch them before they enter the computer is McAfee's Spam Killer. It also catches and deletes all lot of the nonsense email that arrives here every day.

    Please don't let this upset you; it's just the world we live in. Most are astute enough at this point to not open attachments without scanning them, even when they arrive from folks we know.

    To get a laywer , HE'S trying to find a new way of making money !Trust me there are only 2 lower forms of life than lawyers ,Politicians and Real Estate brokers . They would both sell their mothers for a buck ! (AS USUAL.... JMHO)

    I know I've said this before

    but if we stop using Microsoft Internet Explorer and Outlook Express, we wont transmit as many viruses as most of these nasty things are Microsoft-only.

    This is why I use the FREE Netscape 6.2 browser and e-mail client.
