If you have no dedicated flame sensor then the glow plug (HSI) is also the flame sensor. Even though it glows red to ignite, it may not be able to do its job of sensing flame.

It is about the least expensive part to change, they don't always last very long. They were very fragile on older furnaces. Probably not cleanable without breaking.

    Let us know.

I have the same type mobile home furnace , runs for one of two days and shuts down until a power cycle. Not sure if I have a glow plug and flame sensor or combo. Need help taking it apart to get to replacing it. Can anyone give me advice on what it may be or disassembly advice. Thank you

Mobile home furnaces typically do not have a flame sensor. It would be best to determine what is the cause of the malfunction before we give you advice on taking things apart and swapping parts. Usually the ignition control will indicate a fault code, but if you cycle the power it will stop displaying it.
