Taco 007e
is the taco 007e variable speed? Does is constantly adjust when boiler is running? The directions say something about adjusting after 7 days.

As far as I am aware, it is not variable speed. It has a function that is built in, that if the pump is on for more than 24 or 48 hours (cant remember) it will go into like a half speed mode.
Here are the instructions

Yes it is. But it is not something you can change. It is designed to maintain a specific head. It does that by staying on the multiple pump curves built into the programming of the circulator. if you had a multi zone system with zone valves and as valves open and close the flow changes, the head will change. initially the oo7e will run up the curve or down the curve it's on but that will take it off the fixed head position. the pump will adjust to another curve to maintain the fixed head.

@Tom_133 does not believe the Taco 007e is a variable speed and included the instruction sheet that clearly states the opposite.
I'm going to agree with @pedmec who believes it is a variable speed.
But there is a question that I have: Why do you need to know this? Which usually translates to: What problem are you experiencing? That problem may have nothing to do with the circulator, So have at it! Whats the reason for asking?

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?
