Hydronic piping
adding a zone to my basement off a navien combo. I piped the first floor circuit style similar to a radiant system.
Instead of piping a continuous loop and dealing with trapped air, I’m considering the circuit style or a mono flow style. 3/4 main in basement ceiling dropping to baseboard in basement.
just wondering what thoughts are out there.
Also pumping away!!!
Thanks,
Rick

even if I use two mono flow tees wide spread at each piece of baseboard?

Have you used the proper design criteria from the manufacturer to select the proper fittings and pump to make this work. You don't just put them in and hope it works. Here are the original and current design guides and B&G Monoflo Design guide
You are better off with a series loop on baseboard as long as you have less than 65 feet of radiator fin on that loop. Also try to keep the total pipe length below 200ft. Up and down and up and down several times with all those elbows will add significant equivalent length to the loop. That may send you into the bigger pump size in order to get the water to move properly.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?
