Climatemaster aux/emergency question
so initially 10 years ago, the climatemaster tranquility TE 30 was installed with a heat exchanger connected to a weil mclain boiler as a zone with a taco sr506-exp-4 switching relay. The thermostat used was a 11f86-275 thermostat as the communicating thermostat came thru damaged. After 10 year, i needed to install the atc32u03 communicating thermostat due to a fault. Now I cant' seem to get the past wiring to perform regardless of various attempts. Does anyone know what procedure i need to follow.

Do you know if you have the internal Flow Controller - 96B0005N60 or the Motorized Modulating Water Valve -96B0005N62. There are two different wiring diagrams and I'm not sure if that will make a difference. This may take some time to figure.

You are replacing the Legacy thermostat with a communicating thermostat. I need to check into how the communicating thermostat will power up a set of dry contacts to bring on the Taco SR506 thermostat relay for that zone for the heated water from the boiler to the hydro coil. This may take some time.
I wonder if it would just be easier to get another legacy thermostat with WiFi capability for that zone/air handler

Since you have a boiler to provide hot water for emergency heat, is there a Climatemaster electric heat package also installed? If not what relay are you using for the heat relay? Without an electric heat package you may need an aftermarket 24 VDC relay coil with a set of NO contacts to bring on the boiler zone.

I wonder if P6 on the board can be used to power the heat relay using the communicating thermostat?
You may need a relay with a 24 VDC coil. The relay you have has a 24 VAC coil

no electric heat package. The heat exchanger has worked fine for the past 10 plus years. We lose power on a regular basis with power poles installed 1930s. Thru à mile of overgrown woods. In the diagram that 24v has info that it's ground source. It's rather difficult to find info about ground source24v, but climatemaster makes that reference. The climatemaster was provided from a company whose owner retired and they no longer service them. Climatemaster won't talk to you if you are not a dealer. The nearest is about 80 miles away now. I had intended to test the 24v source you circle , I just wanted to find out more about the ground source info.

What was the fault? Once all is good with the CM thermostat setup, switching back to non communicating is just swapping wires. Does everything work ok using the communicating setup?
