Hydronic cooling

Options

Hi all

Iam looking for hydronic cooling insulation or insulated line set. We have been using 6’ length of non split elastomeric insulation. This insulation isn’t very resistant to rips and tears when installing in framing. Is there any pipe insulation similar to refrigerant linesets with the grid pattern tough insulation or hydronic line sets with it?

Thanks Jeffrey

when we were selling Insulated SolarFlex tube the manufacturer had me take a piece and sniff it. He said the best pipe insulation will have a strong rubber smell. The knock off brands had more foam and filler, less EPDM and not much smell.

So I went around the exhibition hall sniffing various brands of pipe insulations.
Me and my expectations was alway high, more-so after sniffing pipe insulation.

K-Flex and Armaflex seem to be top brands.
