Common Maker Install Help

hello. Not sure if this belong in Thermostats, but I am trying to install a Common Maker. Based on the diagram, I’m not sure where I’m suppose to put the purple wire from the sender (wall part) or the the common maker (furnace part)


I’ve got Y W G R coming out of my wall. Need to have a C to power my smart thermostat.

So why should I connect Purple wires in their respective locations?

    Best way is to run a new wire .. Wifi thermostats need a hard wire "C" … Too many issues without one ..
