Locinvar Fire tube Floor model KNH 110 100 boiler makes whomp sound when starting up but not every time Delayed ignition?

    Sounds like it could be that or other things. I would suggest you have it serviced and they should do a combustion test for starters.

    I am having the Lochinvar rep along with installer coming Thur but I know the installer who came out once and did the test said it was off and should be ok now and of course its not It is about 60-70 percent of the time and only when its colder Hoping they can also offer a way to quiet intake that is too close to bedroom really loud on cold nights
