noisy Beckett AFG
Beckett AFG developed a squealing/scraping noise when running, pre, post and when burner fired.

Nothing yet. My health/energy is not great these days. I planned, maybe, to disconnect the motor from the pump and briefly run it. If the noise continues, it's the motor, if not, likely the pump, blower wheel or something.
I think it is pretty safe to try that.

You could take out the pump screws and pull the pump out a couple of inches. Can probably leave the fuel line from the tank attached and disconnect the nozzle line. Check coupling. Just run the motor with the fan on it

How old is the burner? I wouldn’t touch it unless you've got a spare burner coupling. They don't play nice sometimes. You don't have a service agreement with anyone? Who does the annual maintenance?
