in Thermostats and Controls

I need some conformation. I have radiant hot water heat in slab floor . My question is will a Tekmar 519 with sensor work correctly if it is wired with a Red wire, White wire, and batteries ? I have a 2 wire system with no C wire.

    The sensor wires to the stat location, 2 wires

    You need 24V going to the stat, line and common, then a switched wire, 3 wires

    Thank you HR . I was hoping red and white wires and battery back up would make this thermostat work since it is heat only .
