Well, it appears a bit old and probably set up for Propane. With that 100 PSI rating the casting may still have some meat to it, hard to say. I would not pay much more than scrap value for it. Certainly a gamble.

All I know is it was upgraded and someone bought it off the plumber who did it.

Can't find a whole lot of information on them wanted to see if they have specific issues.

Due to the age, I would not expect to find much information on it. Old boilers are pretty simple. Usually when the casting / heat exchanger fails (corrosion, rots, or rusts out, cracks, etc.) they are done.

DV is probably a direct vent, so it may require a specific veting material.
It's really about how it was treated over the years. What type of system it was connected to. Any inhibitors used, etc.
