New Navien DHW and Triangle Tube instinct boiler installation photos

Nearly 2 years ago I purchased an old home in Central Pennsylvania. This home has seen very few updates/maintenance over the past 50 years. As one may expect it had an old New Yorker oil fired boiler with domestic hot water. Though it was still functioning, I knew from the beginning that a replacement of this unit was on the short list. I want to extend a very large thank you to the many educated and knowledgeable contributors of this forum. It was through many hours of reading and research that I gained a very basic understanding of my heating system replacement options. Back in 2024 i made a lengthy post outlining what i viewed as my final options. I was blessed to have been provided lots of input from the members of this forum and for that I thank you again. I met with a local contractor that came highly recommended by a local propane supplier and we further discussed options. In the end I went with what I believe are their recommendations for the system. They have recently completed the install and I felt obligated to share the results with the members of this forum.

The basic breakdown is

Navien NPE240 tankless domestic hot water heater coupled to a gravity recirculation loop.

Triangle Tube instinct 199 free standing with 6 zones and outdoor reset.

This was not actually an option that I posted here on the wall, but in the end I took the main point of advice that you folks push time and again.....Find a reputable contractor and allow them to install the equipment they feel will work the best for a given application. This is what I did and here are the results.....
