Energy Kinetics System 2000 Heat Exchanger

Hi all,
I have an EK System 2000 system (installed in 2012) and I need a new heat exchanger because the system keeps releasing water into the overflow bucket. As you can see in the pics attached, there is quite some significant corrosion that took place. PETRO quoted me what seemed to be a high price (PM me if you want to know the quote).
I am located in Plainview, NY (Long Island). Thank you for your help and guidance!

Thank you for your post, @RJHNY1 .
For reference, HeatingHelp does not allow prices, so that will probably be removed if you do not remove it.
From this page, we show that trade list price of the plate heat exchanger. It is unusual (but not unheard of) that a heat exchanger would fail in the way you describe (it could also be a bad expansion tank that allows the system to over pressurize). The photo does look like it might be dripping out of the side of the heat exchanger, in which case it needs to be replaced. That type of failure is from corrosion and our plate heat exchangers for several years now have a non-stick coating that prevents most mineral build up and is also very corrosion resistant, so it should last a very long time. If it corroded from the domestic water side, you should have your water checked, and if it corroded from the boiler side, it should probably be flushed and have an additive like 8-Way that increases the pH and prevents hydronic side corrosion.
The best way for me to help is to have you reach out to your territory manager, John Hachmann, who knows all the dealers in your area. He can be reached at (516) 459-1701 or jhachmann@energykinetics.com .
Please also feel free to reach out to our customer service team at (908) 735-2066 or reply again to the PMs that we've exchanged.
Best,
