    thanks ,but you left out a common problem and that's removing insulation from pipes and not replacing it. I've found many customers complaining of poor heat distribution especially the farthest radiators. when asked about conditions and we get to insulation , they bought the house with no insulation on the pipes. There goes the result of the asbestos scare. too much heat lost to the basement and the steam turns into condensate before reaching the far radiators. and the heating bill is 10 to 30 percent higher than it needs to be.
