Good point to make, rad traps are often overlooked.
I had a system in an older school house that looked like it had a master trap at the cond pump.
Actually there were 2 systems returning to this pump. The 1954 2 pipe setup had traps at each emitter with EOM F&T……that return went right into the pump.
The 1920 1 pipe system had the EOM F&T right at the pump as it flowed into the pump also.
So at first glance this looked to be a master trap for the entire building but was not. FWIW.
